Gansler is the only choice for AG on the ballot--should I write someone in that is a 2A advocate? Who would that be?

Have you seen the second letter that I sent to the Attorney General? If not
you can link to it here: http://delegatedwyer.com/second-letter-to-md-attorney-general-regarding-second-amendment

The A.G's response to this letter is that they will not comment due to the lawsuit brought against the State of Maryland by the Second Amendment Foundation. From the press release:

" The Second Amendment Foundation and a Baltimore County, MD man today sued Maryland authorities in federal court because the man’s handgun permit renewal was turned down on the grounds that he could not demonstrate “a reasonable precaution against apprehended danger.”

Read the entire press release here: http://saf.org/viewpr-new.asp?id=334

To visit The Second Amendment Foundation please click here:http://www.saf.org/

If you haven't already, may I suggest you connect with Maryland Shall Issue, a great local group committed to 2A rights in Maryland.
http://www.marylandshallissue.org/

We are currently in a holding pattern awaiting the outcome of the lawsuit. However, if I am re-elected, I will continue to support and vote for 2A legislation in the upcoming session.

Thank you so much for visiting my site!

Constitutionally Yours,
Delegate Don Dwyer, Jr

A bit late on a response, but I look forward to an answer from the AG. I am a recent Florida CCW license holder which allows my 2nd ammendment right to conceal carry in PA but not in Maryland. With Gang uptick and personal crime I should have the right to protect my family. The assembly gun-phobes need to understand that a majority of legal firearm owners have fully educated themselves on responsible tactical ownership.

The language is clear and irrefutable. "Congress shall make no law restricting or abridging the posession of a firearm."

What needs to be clarified about THAT? Additionally, AK, AZ, and VT all have laws on the books now that allow UNLICENSED carry/conceal. Truly the 2nd Amendment at its best, and my money says that the crime rates in those areas will drop from being considered Hot LZ's.

I would like to see the same in MD. Gun bans only take weaponry away from the good guys. Bad guys wontr care and will get weapons anyway.
