Marriage Victory
Mar 16th
After almost two hours of debate on the House Floor, the same sex marriage bill was re-committed to committee to protect the Democrat members from having to take a recorded vote when it became clear that supporters of gay marriage did not have the votes to pass the bill.
All indications are- the bill is dead for this year!
There has been a tremendous amount of money, time and personal effort expended by the Democrat Party and its leadership over the past month as they attempted to pass the SSM bill. I DO NOT believe that they will attempt to resurrect the More >
Help Get the Message Out!
Mar 3rd
Dear Supporters of Traditional Marriage:
Thank you for your continued support of traditional marriage in MD.
It’s important to get the churches in MD galvanized to assist on the petition effort should it become necessary.
It is extremely costly to send a letter to each of the churches in MD. Sending the information by email is by far the most cost efficient way to get the message out.
Because of anti spamming laws, (and rightfully so) it is difficult to send mass emails. The way that it can be done lawfully is through a mailhouse service and it is done for a fee.

More >Call to Action- Supporters of Traditional Marriage
Feb 22nd
Dear Supporters of Traditional Marriage,
Below are the Delegates who have sponsored the same sex marriage bills HB 55 and HB 175
Please call these Delegates to let them know that you oppose the bill. Some Delegates on the list have identified the church that they attend. Please consider contacting the church and asking if the church supports “changing the definition of marriage to include same sex relationships” and if not, would the church speak with the Delegate who is a member of the congregation in an attempt to influence a change of heart and a commitment not to vote for the bill.

O’Malley’s New Americans
Oct 18th
If you’ve been listening to news coverage of Maryland’s Gubernatorial Campaign, you’ve no doubt heard all of the buzz surrounding O’Malley’s new title for illegal immigrants; he’s calling them “New Americans”. The following video captures the exchange between O’Malley and Bob Ehrlich on the subject:
So why not refer to illegal immigrants as “New Americans”?
The biggest problem with this new term is that it blurs the line between a legal American Citizen and an Illegal Immigrant.
United States President George Washington stated very clearly the importance of the name “American”. His farewell address in 1796 says: “Citizens, by birth or choice, of a More >

Everyone had a blast at the Deck Social last Thursday. We’d like to send a huge “Thank You” to Cheshire Crab for the excellent food and service, and to everyone who attended or donated.
In case you missed it, Delegate Dwyer hosted the best party of the campaign at Cheshire Crab in Pasadena. Over 300 people wore their island shirts and gathered to party Carribean style. The buffett-style meal included coconut shrimp, ribs, jerk style chicken, and several sides. Beer and wine were free, and mixed drinks were made available for purchase. Everyone who attended was given a coupon for 20% their next visit More >
