Breakfast With Delegate Dwyer

Thanks to everyone who showed their support!

Constitution Offensive

On June 9,2010 Fox news reported, “Wilder Publications warns readers of its reprints of the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, Common Sense, the Articles of Confederation, and the Federalist Papers, among others, that ‘This book is a product of its time and does not reflect the same values as it would if it were written today.” Check out the disclaimer below:

”Any idea that’s 100 years old will probably offend someone or other,” Olson told “…But if there’s anything that you ought to be able to take at a first gulp for yourself and then ask your parents if you’re wondering about this or that strange thing, it should be the founding documents of American history.”

This attitude towards our founding documents is the very attitude that will eventually destroy America as we know it.  Our nations founding documents were intended to provide the vision and foundation for an “American View of Law and Government”. The vision and limitations of these documents are responsible for the creation of the most respected nation the world has ever known.

During the 2010 legislative session of the Maryland Legislature, I requested that the House Speaker (Mike Busch) instruct that copies of the State Constitution be distributed to the members of the House prior to my presentation of Impeachment charges against Maryland’s Attorney General. Regretfully, he would not allow the very document that all 141 House members took an Oath to protect and defend.

“We the People” must insist that all elected officials and candidates adhere to the State and U.S. Constitutions. To do otherwise is to abandon an American View of Law and Government.

 Constitutionally yours,

Delegate Don Dwyer, Jr.
